Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

These members of our team administer physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Physical demands of the position are medium to heavy requiring good physical and mental health. These individuals may handle senile, confused and frightened residents. They must be able to lift/transfer minimally 150 lbs. They must have good hearing, near visual acuity for reading and written materials, and color vision to assess patient's skin and wound status. To serve in this position, a person is expected to have a two year associate degree from an APTA approved college program for PTA's and have a current license in applicable states.
